IPL 2022 auction time and date & name of the two upcoming teams.

IPL 2022 auction is not far away from the mega auction and the lover of the Indian Premier League 2022. 

The auction should be started in January or the last of this month, already 8 teams have chosen their retention list as usual and some big-name released by them like KL Rahul, David Warner, Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer, and many more players couldn't enter into his old franchise. 

However, we knew that the new upcoming teams Lucknow and Ahmedabad releasing is a good thing for the new teams because they could select the best player as his choose such as David Warner, Kl Rahul who one of the best players (as captain or as a batsman) in short format. 

The franchise of the Lucknow team won the bid whopping with the amount of INR 7000 crore and the other expanded INR 5000 crore for Ahmedabad.

8 existing teams announced their retained player list on 30 November and left two new teams have to pick their choices last week of this year or earlier of the first month of 2022.


 IPL 2022: What are the conditions for the selection.


The salary package per team has been increased to INR 90 crore per team's franchise. In which, they could retain 4, 3, 2 players or not anyone this is your choice but the maximum they can retain 4 players, no more than that. 

  • The franchise could not choose more than two uncapped players in its team.

  • Other conditions for the new team are if you select two Indian players then have to choose an overseas player.
